Last week, I was at a local church thrift store and spotted two matching brass lamps. They were totally unique, fun, and a complete nod to a time, long-gone, where craftsmanship and detail were priorities. Nowadays, lamps can be so boring and the really cool ones, everyone has! It was love and intrigue at first sight fo...

My daily routine always involves a moisturizing body wash, exfoliation, and a good moisturizer after showering. After battling dry skin for years, I switched to using...

It’s not shocker that wall art is expensive. For many of us first-time homeowners, wall art is simply out of reach. When we bought our home about two and half years ago, the only wall art we owned were regular picture frames and a few mirrors. Since that time, we’ve slowly been finding creative ways to ad...

While I’m finishing up my project for the #pinterestchallenge I thought it would be fun to share my new pillow score!
I’ve been in love with graphic writing on textiles for some time. The standard look involves black writing on a tan, canvas-like fabric. And, as much as I love that look, it just doesn’t...

This year, I was determined to uncover some planters next to our pool that the previous owners covered with a mix of crappy concrete, stepping stones, and brick. These planters are directly next to the pool, so I can say, that there were probably poorly planned. Having planters next to a pool is a great way to...

And, if you’re looking to get mature plants, you might as well triple your expected cost. Last year, when landscaping both our front an...
