Vintage Dresser Restyled

Authors: Shannon Gabor

Here we are, the middle of another week.  Time is flying by and the projects are piling up.  Just when I finish something, I find another project waiting to be restyled.

And that's what I have for you today.

A vintage dresser was painted in a blah brown.  It was a good paint job, it just didn't add any...

Last week I published a post featuring the Fancy Furniture Finished.

I was completely overwhelmed with the number of views this baby received!

With those views came comments.  I love receiving comments, even the less enthusiastic ones.  And that is just what I got!

The majority of the comments were anonymous....

Happy Monday All!

We had wonderful temperatures here in Central Oho over the weekend.  It was great to get outside, clean up a bit, play and enjoy the short lived summer weather.

Temperature plays a key role in my business as well as my mental health.  I took advantage of the two-day respite and painted a customer...

What’s in Store?

Authors: Shannon Gabor

I ended my vacation a bit earlier than planned.  On Saturday, my booth looked like this:

Can you believe it?  That is the worst I have ever seen my poor space look.  Thanks in part to a few large pieces finding new homes and my booth partner removing her items, I was left with this.

I have been toying with a life changing decision…opening my own little shop.

I strongly considered it back in the spring, but could not find a place that fit all my needs.  When we moved I pictured my small barn as a little shop.  After careful consideration I decided not to have a store next to my home.  I have...

Our First Winter

Authors: Shannon Gabor

Over the holiday season, we got hit with quite a bit of snow.  The first storm arrived the day after Christmas.  I didn’t mind, it gave us an excuse to be lazy and sit by the fire.  I thought I would share a few shots of our new home in its first winter.

Hubby now has a strong bond with our snow blower.

It is so...

Happy New Year to All!

As we open the book for 2013, I am filled with excitement, renewed enthusiasm and optimism.  I usually start the year with lofty goals, accomplish a few and create new ones as I go along.

As I develop my goals for Vintage Restyled, I must look back at 2012.  It was fun to look at the projects I...
