I ordered this custom 86 inch long sofa table made from barn wood from an Etsy shop owner, Jacqueline. She was amazing to work with – awesome communication. She had it made and shipped within 5 days and then it arrived just a couple of days later from Minnesota!
Here it is, though please ignore the crazyness of the room. ...

Since we sold our master bed last month, I’ve been on the hunt for a new one. We’d love to have an upholstered headboard (or bed) with tufting and nailhead. I’ve taken a week or two off of blogging for the first time ever. Why? Well, we moved into our new house that we just purchased on Austin and I’ve been busy! Busy unpacking, busy selling things I can’t use on Craigslist, busy with installments of different kinds such as the water softener, and so on!

We are now closed on the new house in Austin, after relocating from Phoenix! Yay. Bear with me as these are just taken with my phone. I snapped them just quickly for family. I doubt I’ll take any new ones with proper lighting and such before move-in day.

We close today! Here is a sneak peek of some of the items we’ve been gathering for the new family room/ kitchen/ breakfast room areas.

Her home was filled with eye candy. I had a hard time focusing on what I went for… So, of course, I had to find out more about the shop she m...

We sold our entertainment center and have our TV stand up for sale. Instead, we are switching to dressers. One day, in the family room, we’ll have built-ins and the dresser will retire to another room. But, for now, here is what we found.
Both are french provincial style.
The first is a Thomasville piece that is repainted with...
