Rolling In

Authors: Bungalow13

I'm super excited to share sketch ups of the first kitchen bid that I just got this morning.  And even more excited to say that I did not faint or swoon or even gasp at the price.  While the price is really overwhelming, it could have been much much worse.  I am optimistic that we can get this bid to work within...

One down

Authors: Bungalow13

One doorway down and one more to go.  Steve took out the doorway between our bedroom and the kitchen yesterday.  not really quite sure why it was ever there but let's just say that the builders of our home liked doors.  I think that our 2 bedroom house originally had about 14 doors.  A little excessive, don't...

I am busy scheduling bid appointments for plumbing, electrical, floors,...

Authors: Bungalow13

from This Old House

as far as we know, our house never had one.  but it would have made sense if one was originally in our kitchen.  So we're gonna reincarnate it or something like that, by building one in as a spice rack.

We dove in and we sunk.  Not like those awesome Olympic divers.  We are submerged in all things kitchen.  So many little details that you have to include in your plans that I always forget about.  Yuck.

Some of my piles of pictures I have pulled out over the past 6 years as well as my kitchen faucet...

The plants are in full bloom, we have enjoyed several pints of home grown blueberries, our zucs are going nuts, the pole beans are ready and the tomatoes are getting...

Sorry for being so MIA recently but life has been sorta crazy with demo'ing, building and being out of town every weekend for the last month.  I have just barely gotten laundry done...   plus just haven't been in the mood for...

Lookin Bare

Authors: Bungalow13

So after not finishing on Sunday, Steve called work off Monday to complete demo.  After a full day of demo Monday, Steve made it to the dump 10 minutes before closing and unloaded over 1500 lbs of debris.  Mind you this doesn't include any of the wood.  He took a trip to hall all the stair wood to the wood waste...
